Journeys in Color

Minnesota Watercolor Society Fall Show 2025

How do you define "journey?" Whether they’ve traveled near or far, to Tuscany or the outer reaches of their back yards, these artists share their experiences with us in magnificent watercolor.

The MNWS Fall Exhibition is the society's annual non-juried show, meaning that artwork is not selected through a competitive process and is open to all active members. Each member is invited to submit one entry. The judge for the 2025 show was watercolor artist Nanci Yermakoff.

Awards include:

• Best of Show
• Emerich/Stordahl Founder’s Award reserved for a floral artwork
• First, Second, and Third Honors
• Honorable Mention
• Award of Merit
• People’s Choice

The Minnesota Watercolor Society's (MNWS) mission is to further the development of the watercolor artist by providing a supportive environment with education and exhibition opportunities and to promote public appreciation and greater visibility of the art.
